Back To You First

[Chorus]

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you first

Back to you first (oh yeah)

I said I'm done but it still hurts

Still hurts worse when I don't call

Round and round

I crush then I curse

But I still put you first

I still put you first

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you

Back to you first

[Verse 1]

Lip gloss on

I’m late again

Telling my girls

“this the last time

Swear”

Front door swing

That crooked grin

One little look and I’m right back there

Coat on the chair

Shoes by the wall

You say my name like you own it all

I draw a line

Then I cross it fast

Every goodbye never seems to last (nah)

[Chorus]

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you first

Back to you first (hey!)

I said I'm done but it still hurts

Still hurts worse when I don't call

Round and round

I crush then I curse

But I still put you first

I still put you first

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you

Back to you first

[Verse 2]

You pour that drink

I roll my eyes

You turn me slow in the kitchen light

You talk that talk I said I’d fight

But my hands find your shoulders tight

My friends all say

“girl

You should leave”

Then they see us and they just believe

We’re bad ideas in our Sunday best

Wrong for my mind

Right for my chest (ooh)

[Bridge]

One step out

Two steps in

Same old song on my skin

I try to run

You just spin me around

Say my full name

And I melt right down

Tell myself “last time

” under my breath

Then I’m in deeper than I ever meant

If this is trouble

I don’t wanna be saved

I’d rather misbehave

[Chorus]

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you first

Back to you first (back to you)

I said I'm done but it still hurts

Back to you first

Back to you first (back to you)

I said I'm done but it still hurts

Still hurts worse when I don't call

Round and round

I crush then I curse

But I still put you first

I still put you first

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you

Back to you first (to you first)

You keep me coming back to you first

Back to you

Back to you first
