Backpack in the Moonlight

Walk in the halls when the mood is high

A sneaker's whisked goodbye, they'll lock us tonight

Paper bets on the bulletin board

Every shadow feels like an open door

A hero laughs when the medal rolls

Then they go, see the lockers glow

They say, come on, don't be afraid

This whole school's a game we made

Boo, boo, let's go

Through the midnight glow

Every classroom lights up

When we say hello

Clap, clap, run fast

Let the wonder begin

Halloween night and we're diving in

Boo-boo, hooray, in the halls we roam

Funny ghosts are turning the school into home

One more cheer, one more spark

Let the whole night sing

Every classroom turns into an adventure thing

The signs bloom as the stars shift out

The art room paints a ghostly crowd

Not then the void becomes a map

To secret treasure and start the trap

From the gym to the library light

Every corner a shining light

The boughs don't ring, they shimmer and sway

Guiding us deeper into the play

Boo, boo, let's go

Through the midnight glow

Every classroom lights up

When we say hello

Clap, clap, real fast

Let the wonder begin

Halloween night, and we're diving in

Boo-boo, hooray, in the halls, we roam

Friendly ghosts are turning the school into home

One more cheer, one more spark

Let the whole night sing

Every classroom turns into an adventure thing

If you hear a knock, don't hide away

It's just a ghost who wants to play

We'll follow the shimmer line by line

'Til the hallway feels like a magic sign

Boo-boo, let's go to the midnight glow

Every classroom lights up when we say hello

Clap-clap, shout loud, let the wonder begin

Halloween night, number five, yeah

Boo-boo, hooray, in the halls we roam

Funny ghosts are turning the school into home

Hand in hand, side by side, look on the moon above

Every stupid little hole is full of love
