Blessed in the Morning

I woke up to a golden light

Soft on my skin and kind to my sight

Hands in the air, I felt it then

Every broken piece came back again

I walked with a quiet MBA

Held on to hope for mercy's sake

Feel steady and new

With a grateful heart, I'm singing through

Oh, I'm blessed, I'm blessed today

Love keeps finding me on the way

Warm like fire, gentle like rain

Calling my soul back again, oh

I'm blessed indeed

More than enough for all I need

With a thankful heart and a lifted song

I keep on moving strong and calm

The room is alive with the sweetest sound

Like heaven's end when the choir comes down

I feel that joy in the way I breathe

A tender grace surrounding me

Oh, I'm blessed, I'm blessed today

Love keeps finding me on the way

Warm like fire, gentle like rain

Calling my soul back again, oh

I'm blessed, I'm blessed indeed

More than enough for all I need

With a thankful heart and a lifted song

I keep on moving strong and calm

Thank you for the breath in my lungs

Thank you for the breath in my lung

Thank you for the battles I've won

I sing it soft, I sing it loud

Grateful and grounded, I'm rising up
