Come Closer To The Groove

[Verse 1]

You walk in slow

Sun on your skin

That glow

Laugh in the air

You toss your hair like you don’t care

You catch my eye

Sip on your drink

Then shy

You look away

But your body got a lot to say

[Chorus]

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let your heartbeat slide in time

I got room in my two-step

Right here

Your hand in mine

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let the night say what it wants to

If you feel that little move

Babe

That’s me

Calling you to dance it through

[Verse 2]

You tap your heel

Tiny rhythm only I can feel

You bite your lip

Sway in place

Then let it slip

You take one step

Half a smile sayin’ “what’s next?”

I take your hand

Now we’re moving like we planned

[Chorus]

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let your heartbeat slide in time

I got room in my two-step

Right here

Your hand in mine

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let the night say what it wants to

If you feel that little move

Babe

That’s me

Calling you to dance it through

[Bridge]

Spin in my arms

You laugh

You fall into my charm (oh yeah)

Face to face

Breath so near

Every turn just pulls you here

Is it the rhythm or the wine?

Or the way your fingers lock in mine?

Either way

We’re flowing true

Every little step’s an “I want you”

[Chorus]

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let your heartbeat slide in time

I got room in my two-step

Right here

Your hand in mine

Come closer to the groove

Babe

Let the night say what it wants to

If you feel that little move

Babe

That’s me

Calling you to dance it through
