Hold On To The Hallelujah

[Verse 1]

Bills on the table

Tears in the sink

Phone full of problems

No time to think

Heart getting heavy

Faith feeling thin

You say

"God

If You hear me

I need You again"

[Chorus]

Hold on to the hallelujah (hold on)

Even when it hurts to say it

Sing it till your chains fall loose

Yeah

Praise Him in the middle of it

When it don't look like the blessing's coming

That's when heaven's breaking through

Hold on to the hallelujah

Hallelujah’s holding you (oh yeah)

[Verse 2]

Doctor said "maybe"

Boss said "we're through"

Friends went missing

When the sky turned blue

But grace keeps showing

Up on time

One small mercy

One clear sign

[Chorus]

Hold on to the hallelujah (hold on)

Even when it hurts to say it

Sing it till your chains fall loose

Yeah

Praise Him in the middle of it

When it don't look like the blessing's coming

That's when heaven's breaking through

Hold on to the hallelujah

Hallelujah’s holding you

[Bridge]

[Choir claps and stomps

Call and response]

Lead: I still got a hallelu—

Choir: —lujah in my mouth

Lead: I still got a hallelu—

Choir: —lujah in this house

Lead: I still got a hallelu—

Choir: —lujah through the doubt

All: Watch that mountain

Move right now (hey!)

[Chorus]

Hold on to the hallelujah (hold on)

Even when it hurts to say it

Sing it till your chains fall loose

Yeah

Praise Him in the middle of it

When it don't look like the blessing's coming

That's when heaven's breaking through

Hold on to the hallelujah

Hallelujah’s holding you

(Hold on to the hallelujah)

Hallelujah’s holding you
