Hold On To The Hallelujah

[Verse 1]

Been praying in the quiet

Tears soaking through this shirt

I told You that I’m tired

You told me “trust Me through the hurt”

[Chorus]

I hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

Right here in the middle of the storm

Lift my hands before the healing

Right here in the middle of the storm

Lift my hands before the healing

Praise comes first before I’m restored

When I don’t see the ending

You’re the strength I’m running to

I don’t have to see the miracle

To hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

[Verse 2]

My mama said “keep singing

Even when your voice feels small”

’Cause chains start disappearing

When you praise right through the wall

[Pre-Chorus]

Every time I feel that darkness

You remind me where my heart is

Love louder than the lies I used

[Chorus]

So I hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

Right here in the middle of the storm

So I hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

Right here in the middle of the storm

Lift my hands before the healing

Praise comes first before I’m restored

When I don’t see the ending

You’re the strength I’m running to

I don’t have to see the miracle

To hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

[Bridge]

Even if the mountain stays

I will sing You’re still the same (oh yeah)

Even if the night won’t break

I will sing

I will sing Your name

[Chorus]

I hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)

Right here in the middle of the storm

Lift my hands before the healing

Praise comes first before I’m restored

When I don’t see the ending

You’re the strength I’m running to

I don’t have to see the miracle

To hold on to the hallelujah (hallelujah)
