In the Warm Light

I woke up with a grateful heart

Feeling the mercy in the morning glow

Every little step I take

I know Your grace is all I need to know

You steady me when the night feels wrong

You lift me when I'm low

With a warm strong and nice spirit

I keep letting my thanks flow

I'm grateful, grateful

Singing from a tender place

Grateful, grateful

Held by love and covered in grace

Warm heart on my shoulders

Joy in the way I move

Grateful, grateful

Every breath is proof

On the road gets weary and the world gets loud

You come stoned in me

Your kindness is a shelter

Your peace runs deep and free

So I raise my hands with a steady smile

I lean into the truth

All my days are sweetened

By the goodness I found in You

I'm grateful, grateful

Singing from a tender place

Grateful, grateful

Held by love and covered in grace

Warm light on my shoulders

Joy in the way I move

Grateful, grateful

Every breath is proof

Oh, when my voice starts trembling

Your love keeps it strong

You turn my sighs to praises

And you carry me along

I can feel the heavens answering

In every note I sing

Grateful, grateful

Let the choir rise and ring

I'm grateful, grateful

Singing from a tender bass

Grateful, grateful

Held by love and covered in grace

Warm light on my shoulders

Joy in the way I move

Grateful, grateful

Every breath is through
