Midnight March to the Haunted Hall

I hear the silence opening wide

Every shadow falls in line

Step by step, I take my place

Cold light sharpening my face

The air goes stale when I arrive

Like a spark against the dark

Hearts start racing, eyes awake

Feel the power in the spark

I awoke into the night

With a fire in my stare

All lights turn into the dark

Let me know that I am there

I walk into the night

No fear in my heartbeat

Spooky lights behind me glow

But I rise on steady feet

Bootsteps echo through the hall

Like a promise in the rain

I wear the dusk like armor now

Turn my hunger into flame

Whispers gathered and they vanish

When I move into the frame

Every breath becomes a signal

Every glance remembers my name

I walk into the night

With a fire in my stare

All lights hang to the door

Lest you know that I am there

I walk into the night

No fear in my heartbeat

Spooky lights behind me glow

But I rise on steady feet

Let the ghosts all watch and wander

Let the shadows make their case

I was born to stand in thunder

And to own this open space

I walk into the light

With a fire in my stare

All eyes cut into the door

Like they know that I am rare

I walk into the night

Triumphant and unafraid

From the dark I claim the room

And I leave it rearranged
