Midnight Trick or Treat Parade

We're racing down the sidewalk on the moonlit orange fire

Little shadows bouncing high, hearts wired for desire

Jack-o'-lanterns grin from every porch we pass

And the stars go out just running like a glittering blast

Knock-knock, ring-ring

Hear the laughter in the air

Every door's a secret, every stair we adhere

Trick or treat

We're out tonight

Tiny footsteps in the light

Candy in our hands like treasure

Sparkle, giggle, sleek together

Trick or treat, we're on a spree

Dive the door so loud and free

Undip pumpkins glowing bright

We're kings and queens of Halloween night

Paper bags are filling up

With caramel gold

Chocolate bars and gummy moons

For the breathing bold

Houston swish and capes fly back

In the chilly breeze

We're collecting shiny sweets

Like pirates chasing keys

Knock, knock, ring, ring

Hear the laughter in the air

Every door's a secret

Every stairway a dare

Trick or treat, we're out tonight

Tiny footsteps in the light

Candy in our hands like treasure

Sparkle, giggle, sweet together

Trick or treat, we're on a spree

Door to door, so wild and free

Under pumpkins glowing bright

We're kings and queens of Halloween night

If a monster hides, we'll grin back twice as wide

With a pumpkin lantern glowing like a raccoon on our side

No fright can slow us still, we're a shiny little storm

Tackling through the neighborhood, keeping spooky fun warm

Trick or treat, we're out tonight

Tiny footsteps in the light

Candy in our hands like treasure

Sparkle, giggle, sweet together

Cheek to cheek, we're on a spree

Door to door, so wild and free

And the pumpkin's glowing bright

The kids clue on Halloween night
