Moonlight Monster Parade

When the moon peeks out and the perch lights glow

Little feet start tapping in a spooky row

Friendly monsters smiling as they pass the gate

With a candy bag and giggles, they're never late

March, march, monster parade

And then the silver stars and the maple shade

Clap, clap, follow the sound

Little creatures bouncing all around

March, march, don't be scared

'Til the friendliest monsters ever conquer

Candy in their pockets, joy in every stride

A moonlit neighborhood on a happy spooky ride

Moon wears stripes in a crooked purple hat

One hums a tune for the sleepy cat

One shakes his xylophone with tiny green hands

And the whole street smiles as the parade expands

March, march, monster parade

Under the silver stars in the makeshift

Clap, clap, follow the sound

Sweet little creatures bouncing all around

March, march, don't stop

Don't be scared, they're the friendliest monsters ever compared

Candy in their pockets, joy in every stride

A moonlit neighborhood on a happy, spooky ride

Ah, ha, ooh, what a sight to see

I see your little footsteps in a jingling jubilee

Knock, knock, then they wave goodbye

With a jingle in their eyes and a laugh like the sky

March, march, monster parade

And then the silver stars in the maple shade

Clap, clap, follow the sound

Sweet little creatures bouncing all around

March, march, hand in hand

Spooky and sweet across the land

Candy giggles, moonbeam light

Goodnight neighborhood and happy fright
