Moonlit Knocks on the Hollow Door

Halloween night and the streetlamps glow

A shadow taps where the cold winds go

Three little knocks on my front door pane

Like a ghost in the rain calling out my name

I hold my breath and the silence bends

A silver line slips around the edge

I heard the knock at the door tonight

And I followed the light

I followed the light

As the fear in the dark sky

I followed the light

I followed the life

Down the hall

That shimmer sways

As the old cracked frame

And the empty haze

Every step feels like stepping through

A half-closed dream

Painted in blue

Something′s obsessed

Don't look back

The dark can′t hold

But the moon has trapped

I heard the knock at the door tonight

And I followed the light

I followed the light

Passed the fear and the dark down the sky

I followed the light

I followed the life

If it's a warning, let it be great

If it's a lost soul, I know the way

I'm not afraid of the trembling sun

When the light calls me home

I heard a knock at the door tonight

And I followed the light

I followed the light

To the mist and the ember night

Followed the light, I followed the light

Now the door stands open, the shadows part

And the mystery comes like the second heart
