Moonlit Monster Mash on Elm Street

When the moon climbs high and the streetlights glow

The whole block shivers, but the good ones know

There's a peak in the cracks and a spark in the air

Every cobweb corner's turning into a fair

Hear that belly laughing, hear that spooky groove

Skeletons are stepping, got nothing to lose

Neighbors on the porch, they're dressed to impress

Tonight, the haunted house is just a

Wild success

We're dancing under a full moon

Out in the night

Monsters on the move

And the costumes fit right

Hands up, shout loud

Let the whole town know

It's one wild Halloween bash

Here we go

We're dancing under a full mood

Bright and free

In the middle of the fight

It's a party to be

Go, go, hey, hey

Let the nightmare play

Everybody's shaking ′til the take of day

The vampire′s in with a disco grin

The mummy's got a groove that pulls you in

Bats on a mailbox, Jack O′Hannon's plays

Even the old black cats in a glittery haze

Got into a midnight stage

Every little monster's got a dance floor rage

From the cul-de-sac down to the end of the lane

We're making every shadow sing our name

We're dancing under a full moon out in the night

Monsters on the move in the costume she writes

Hands up, shout out, let the whole town know

It's one wild Halloween bash

Here we go

We're dancin' under full moon, bright and free

It's the middle of the fight, it's a party to be

Boo-boo, hey-hey, let the nightmare play

Everybody shake until the break of day

Stomp, stomp, let the thunder roll

Groove so sweet, kickin' like a cold stone, so

If you hear a howl, just join the crowd

Tonight the creepy gets a little too proud

We're dancing on this old moon

Out in the night

Monsters allure

When the cops twist your right

Hands up, shout loud

Let the whole town know

It's one wild Halloween bash

Here we go

We're dancing on this

Full moon, bright and free

In the middle of a fright, it's a party to be

Ooh-ooh, hey-hey, let the nightmare play

Everybody shake until the break of day
