Neon Mall Escapes

Let's throw wings or we're out the door

Sweet discups on the candy store floor

We'll trade our lunch money for a ride downtown

Laughing too loud as the sun goes down

Packin' for a spotlight left drawn in blue

Every little corner feels brand new

We're sneakin' away at the school

Making the ordinary feel cool

Need our lives, we're alive tonight

Tiny adventures in a big city glow

Hey, hey, where do we go?

Finding other things I sure can say

Hey, hey, don't let this end

Just dance in the night with my best friends

Wandering miles where the mirrors blink

Roaming our dreams on the edge of a wink

Archive hearts and a soda pop cheer

Every small moment feels bigger here

Hands in the air, we're skipping along

Writing our names in a backbeat sound

We're sneaking away after school

Making the ordinary feel cool

Neon lights, we're alive tonight

Tiny adventures in a big city glow

Hey, hey, where do we go?

Anywhere the first lights show

Say, hey, hey, don't let this end, just us

And then I am like this, right?

If the world gets loud, we'll turn it down

Binning in circles through our town

No map, no plan, just a thrill to chase

Golden hour flashing on every face

Sneaking away after school

Breaking new rules and the same is way too

Beyond lights, we're alive tonight

Tiny adventures in a big city glow

Hey, hey, hear us sing

This is the freedom a small day can bring

We say, hey, hey, don't let this end just us

And then I and my bells
