Night Maps of Nowhere

Streetlights flicker in the back of my mind

Tracing lines across a city I can’t find

Paper trails of phantom avenues I roam

Lost in blueprints, so far from home

Echoes whisper underneath my hands

Building skylines I’ll never understand

I draw the night on faded pages

Mapping ghosts through lonely stages

Every corner turns into a memory

Of the friend who's vanished, out of reach
