Pumpkin Parade

Lanterns flicker on the porches

Orange eyes in every grin

Paper ghosts and painted witches

Spin the night alive again

Little feet on sidewalks tapping

Candy bags in costumes high

Everybody hears the drumline calling

As the moon climbs up the sky

Hear the laughter, hear the clatter

Every house becomes a stage

Neighbors wave from glowing doorways

As we march from block to block and peed by page

Trick or treat, trick or treat

Down the friendly street parade

Jack-o'-lantern shining bright

In the cool October shade

Hand in hand, we sway and sing

No one wants to stay inside

When the whole town joins the rhythm

And the night comes alive

Trick or treat, trick-or-treat

Under stars that strike a glow

We're the candy-colored chorus on the go

Go, go

Broomstick bikes and caved-up cowboys

Pinces, crowns, and monster teeth

Apoustic strings are strumming

While the brass goes marching underneath

From the corners to the curbsides

Every window lights the way

And the whole street feels like one big festival that came to play

Hear the laughter, hear the clatter

Every house becomes a stage

Neighbors wave from glowing doorways

As we march from block to block in page by page

Trick or treat, trick or treat

Down the friendly street parade

Jack-o'-lantern shining bright

In the cool October shade

Hand in hand we sway and sing

No one wants to stay inside

When the whole town joins the rhythm and the night comes alive

Trick or treat, trick or treat

Under stars that start to glow

We're the candy-colored chorus on the go, go, go

Dark turns bright when smiles are lanterns

Every doorway knows our name

Even spooky things feel cheerful

When the whole block joins the game

So keep the beat, keep the motion

Let the autumn anthem ride

We're a marching band of neighbors

With the whole parade outside

Trick or treat, trick or treat

Down the friendly street parade

Jack-o'-lantern shining bright

In the cool October shade

Hand in hand to sway and sing

No one wants to stay inside

When the whole town joins the rhythm

And the night comes alive

Trick or treat, trick or cheat

Hear the laughter travel far

Blowing perches, happy hearts

And the night becomes a star
