God in the Valley

[Verse] Life is easy when the sun’s on your face Every shadow hides Every trouble erased But clouds roll in Yeah They never ask why And the tears start falling like rain from the sky [Prechorus] Hold on tight Don't let go There's a hand in the dark that you know [Chorus] The God on the mountain He’s still in the valley When the night gets cold When the road turns alleys When things go wrong He’ll make them right The God on the mountain walks through the night [Verse 2] It’s hard to smile when the winds start to howl When the mirror shows a face that don’t know how But faith’s a fire And it burns in the rain Every ember whispers “you’ll rise again” [Bridge] So sing to the storm Let the thunder reply The God of the mountain’s not waving goodbye He’s the whisper in silence The roar in you
