Midnight Lanterns in the Graveyard

I woke alone with a cold stone slate

Under a moon that cuts so deep

Mountains flicker in the blackened air

Every otter sings to no one there

Hear the bells in hollow night

Calling me closer to the light

Trees lean in with a silent grin

And the graveyard wakes from within

Ghostly echoes trace my track

It's the night

Wants my fear to show

I′ll keep walking where the cold winds go

Names etched faded in lavish stone

Whispers echo but I'm not alone

A silver shimmer on the broken ground

As unseen footsteps make no sound

Bells ring now from the chapel door

Like a secret I can't ignore

The mist rolls low by the iron gate

As the midnight hours accelerate
