Sunburn on My Hoodie

[Chorus]

Sunburn on my hoodie

You laughed and pulled the brim down low

Sticky fingers from the slurpee

We’re racing where the boardwalk goes

You said

“Save this in your memory”

I said

“I’ll save it in my phone”

Sunburn on my hoodie

I don’t wanna go back home

[Verse 1]

Shot of your feet on the dashboard

Crooked little heart on the side door

You steal my fries at the rest stop

I steal a kiss at the next shop (hey!)

Wind in your hair

Out the window

Singing the words that we don’t know

You trace a smile on my elbow

Say

“Promise me this won’t get old”

[Chorus]

Sunburn on my hoodie

You laughed and pulled the brim down low

Sticky fingers from the slurpee

We’re racing where the boardwalk goes

You said

“Save this in your memory”

I said

“I’ll save it in my phone”

Sunburn on my hoodie

I don’t wanna go back home

[Bridge]

If this is just a weekend

Then let it never end

Oh no

Replay every second

Like we’re living in slow-mo (woah)

[Chorus]

Sunburn on my hoodie

You laughed and pulled the brim down low

Sticky fingers from the slurpee

We’re racing where the boardwalk goes

You said

“Save this in your memory”

I said

“I’ll save it in my phone”

Sunburn on my hoodie

I don’t wanna go back home

I don’t wanna go back home

I don’t wanna go back home
