Thankful in the Glow

Morning light slips through the window pane

I breathe in grace and let it name my name

Every small mercy, every step I take

Feels like heaven, learning how to stay

And I was carrying words like stone

But your love keeps turning them into gold

I'm thankful

Thankful in the glow

For the teak is love that makes me whole

Every heartbeat says I'm known

I'm thankful, thankful to the bone

Hands lifted high when the road feels long

I found the song where the weak grow strong

Even though waiting has a sacred sound

Joy is blooming where I thought it drowned

And I was carrying worries like stone

But your love keeps turning them into gold

I'm thankful

Thankful in the glow

For the teak is love that makes me whole

Every heartbeat says I'm known

I'm thankful, thankful to the bone fruit

You make a river out of dry ground

You put a hallelujah in my mouth now

I was lost, but I'm found in your hold

Warm like fire, soft like soul

I'm faithful, faithful in the glow

For the mercy that keeps flowing home

Every heartbeat says I know

I'm thankful, thankful to the bone

Thankful, thankful
