What You Wanted, What You Lost

You came in sweet with a silver tongue

Told me I was the only one

I gave my heart, I gave my time

You took your fill and crossed that line

I prayed for light, I prayed for truth

In the fire, You showed me proof

What I thought was love was just a stage
