Witches, Whiskey & Wicked Laughs

The moon is up, the jack-o'-lanterns grin

I hit the door and felt the end, a wicked little smile

Sure up, just like trouble in disguise

Now the whole room's buzzin' for a while

Ice in the glass, spark in the air

Everybody's laughin' like we don't ever care

Your hair must speed, my pulse on fire

We're one bad idea away from goin' higher

It's a grown-up Halloween, let the night get mean

With a wink, with a kiss, in a costume so clean

We're dancin' with the guests and the neon light

Kissin' like a scary for midnight

Grown-up Halloween, sweet and obscene

We're mischievous monsters on a velvet dream

Raise your cup, shout it loud with me

Tonight we haunt the party palm free

Spider web heels, a borrowed cape

You whisper, meet me by the candy in the paper plates

The DJ drops a groove, shakes the floor and somebody speaks

Teeth are scattered near the door

Ice in the glass, spark in the air

Everybody's laughing like we don't have a care

Your hand on my sleeve, our pulse on fire

We're one bad idea away from going higher

So go on up, Halloween, let the night get mean

With a wink, with a twist, in a costume so clean

We're dancing with the ghosts and the neon lights

Kiss me like a spirit for midnight

Gone up Halloween, sweet and unseen

We're mischievous monsters on a velvet dream

Raise your cup, shout it loud with me

Tonight we haunt the party wild and free

If the walls could talk, we'd tell on us all

From the candy bowl corner to the bathroom hall

Laughing at the shadows while breaking the spell

One more round, one more howling, oh well

So going up Halloween, let the night get mean

With a wink, with a twist, and a costume so clean

We're dancing with the ghosts and the neon light

Kiss me like a scare before midnight

Going up Halloween, sweet and obscene

We're mischievous monsters on a velvet dream

Face your cup, shout it loud with me

Tonight we haunt the party wild and free
