Just Pray

Dust on my sandals

Shakin' off the town

They don't want the message

They just tear it down

But you see every sparrow

You count every hair

You send me like a shadow

With your fire in my prayer

So I'll just pray

When they tone their face in the way

When the door slams hard in my face

You hear me anyway

I'll just pray

You are near when I'm on a train

If they will not hear what I say

I'll trust you and just pray

You said I'd be rejected

'Cause they rejected you

But nothing goes unnoticed

Faithful, you are true

I'll leave the dust behind me

I'll leave them in your hands

And fall down in a secret

Where only mercy stands

So I'll just pray

When they turn their face and

When the door slams hard in my face

You hear me in any way

I'll just pray

You are near when I'm afraid

If they will not hear what I say

I'll trust you and just pray

For every house, for every heart

For every place that shuts me out

Still in charge, your kingdom seat is in the ground

Oh, so I'll just pray

When they turn their faces away

When the door slams tight in my face

You hear me anyway

I'll just pray

You are near when I'm afraid

If they will not hear what I say

Jesus, have Your way

I'll trust You and just pray
