Kingdom Keeps On Marching

[Intro]

[Drum break

Tight two-bar snare-tenor unison

Sticks in the air]

Hey!

Set it up

Set it up

(one, two!)

[Verse 1]

We were walkin’ in the valley

Dragging chains

Heavy feet

Then Your word hit like a thunder

Woke our hearts on the beat

Now we’re steppin’ in alignment

Every heel

Every toe

From the back row to the altar

Same fire

Same flow

[Chorus]

Kingdom keeps on marching

Can’t stop

Won’t stop (hey!)

Every step is victory

Every shout unlocked

Walls keep falling

As Your people move as one

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til the whole world sees the Son

[Verse 2]

See the ushers start to shuffle

Grandma’s dancin’ in the aisle

Little kids up on the front row

Clappin’ loud

Wide smile

Heaven’s timetable is ticking

This parade won’t slow

We’re the echo of Your promise

On the go

On the go

[Chorus]

Kingdom keeps on marching

Can’t stop

Won’t stop (oh!)

Every step is victory

Every shout unlocked

Walls keep falling

As Your people move as one

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til the whole world sees the Son

[Bridge]

Forward

Forward

We don’t break

We break through

Forward

Forward

Every chain behind You

Forward

Forward

Every tribe

Every tongue

Forward

Forward

‘Til the trumpet is sung

[Chorus]

Kingdom keeps on marching

Can’t stop

Won’t stop (hey!)

Every step is victory

Every shout unlocked

Walls keep falling

As Your people move as one

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til the whole world sees the Son

[Shout / Praise Break]

[Band hits

Brass punches

Choir in tight unison]

Step left

Step right

Lift Jesus high tonight

Step left

Step right

Watch darkness lose that fight

Step left

Step right

Shout glory

Set that pace

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til we see You face to face (hey!)

[Chorus]

Kingdom keeps on marching

Can’t stop

Won’t stop (hey!)

Every step is victory

Every shout unlocked

Walls keep falling

As Your people move as one

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til the whole world sees the Son

[Shout / Praise Break]

[Band hits

Brass punches

Choir in tight unison]

Step left

Step right

Lift Jesus high tonight

Step left

Step right

Watch darkness lose that fight

Step left

Step right

Shout glory

Set that pace

Kingdom keeps on marching

‘Til we see You face to face (hey!)
