See the city through the window, voices painting on my mind

Chasing stories in the shuffle, letting every beat unwind

Past the corner where we started, all those promises we made

Still I’m rolling with my thoughts, counting every step I’ve played

It's midnight in my headphones, searching for my lane

Making sense of chaos, from these memories and pain

Illusions flicker in the night

Questions linger out of sight

But I keep scribbling my part

On the canvas of my heart

From the struggle to the vision, I find comfort in the beats
